🔹 AI in Higher Education – Building on AI-ENABLE results

A national round table on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education was recently organised in Slovenia as part of the EHEAII project (@ https://www.facebook.com/EHEAIIproject ), bringing together experts and practitioners from the higher education sector.

Participants discussed the opportunities, challenges, and ethical implications of integrating AI into teaching and learning, as well as the future role of AI in academic environments.

💡 These discussions strongly connect with the outcomes of the AI-Enable project, where a number of good practices for responsible and effective use of AI in higher education were identified.

We are pleased to see that these insights will now be further used, expanded, and developed within the EHEAII project, supporting universities in integrating AI in a pedagogically meaningful, ethical, and strategic way.

👏 Thank you to everyone involved in advancing the conversation on responsible AI in education.

📢 The Erasmus+ project AI-ENABLE has published Newsletter 5:

AI-ENABLE Special Issue 5 – Tested with teachers, validated with
stakeholders: how the final courses were shaped by real feedback

High-quality training is not just well designed – it must work in real conditions. In this issue, we share how AI Teach, AI Lead, and the AI-ENABLE learning platform were refined through a structured pilot and validation process.

👩‍🏫 27 teachers from four countries tested AI Teach in a two-week guided pilot, highlighting the clear structure, short learning units, and practical focus – while also providing concrete suggestions for improvement.

🤝 44 stakeholders (teachers, leaders, researchers, inclusion experts, students) joined national validation workshops, confirming the quality, usability, and relevance of both courses – especially the institutional value of AI Lead.

🔧 Based on feedback, we improved terminology, examples, navigation, quiz feedback, and media elements, and committed to keeping regulatory content up to date.

🌍 The result: structured, multilingual, open-access courses shaped by real users – and ready for long-term reuse beyond the project.
