Welcome to Lesson 4: Designing Inclusive Learning with AI Tools


This lesson is designed to give you hands-on experience in applying AI tools to create your own inclusive teaching practices. Building on the design thinking approach used in the AI-ENABLE project, you will be guided step by step through generating ideas, planning lessons with UDL and SAMR, and prototyping inclusive learning activities.

The focus is on practice and creativity: you will not only learn about methods but also apply them to develop a prototype of an inclusive, AI-enhanced lesson. Peer feedback and iteration will help you refine your design and build confidence in using AI to support diverse learners.

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to design and test innovative teaching strategies that combine pedagogy, technology, and inclusivity — making higher education more engaging and equitable for all students.
