📌 Validacijska delavnica - platforma za e-učenje AI-ENABLE
V ponedeljek, 8. decembra, so projektni partnerji na Univerzi v Mariboru (Boštjan Šumak, Saša Kuhar in Maja Pušnik) v okviru projekta AI-ENABLE uspešno izvedli validacijsko delavnico.

Glavni cilj delavnice je bil potrditi pripravljenost in ustreznost platforme za e-učenje, ki je na voljo na naslovu 👉 https://aienable.eu/start-learning/
Platforma vključuje dva spletna tečaja:

🎓 AI-Teach - praktični tečaj za visokošolske učitelje, ki želijo uporabljati orodja umetne inteligence, da bi bilo njihovo poučevanje bolj vključujoče in učinkovito.

🏛️ AI-Lead - strateški tečaj za vodje v visokem šolstvu, ki želijo izkoristiti umetno inteligenco za vključujoče inovacije in institucionalno preobrazbo.
Delavnica je sledila poskusnemu izvajanju tečaja AI-Teach, med katerim so udeleženci samostojno raziskovali vsebino tečaja in funkcije platforme ter zagotovili dragocene povratne informacije.
👥 Validacijske delavnice se je udeležilo 15 članov akademskega in vodstvenega osebja Univerze v Mariboru (Slovenija). Udeleženci so delili svoja mnenja, izpostavili prednosti in opredelili področja za izboljšave. Na podlagi njihovih povratnih informacij se trenutno izvajajo izboljšave platforme in vsebine.

October 25th, 2025 at Dolmabahçe Schools, a special training session titled “Integration of Inclusive Artificial Intelligence into Education within the Scope of Global Schools and 21st Century Skills” was conducted for our teachers by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuncer Can , Director of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Continuing Education Center (SEM), and Ergün Yılmaz, Head of the Foreign Languages Department at Dolmabahçe Schools, within the framework of the Erasmus+ EU Project AI-Enable

During this dissemination session, through AI-Enable's results our teachers explored the innovative applications of inclusive AI technologies in education, their role in developing 21st-century skills, and how global perspectives are transforming teaching and learning. 🌐✨

📅 On 17th September 2025, partners from University of Maribor, FERI hosted a Transnational Project Meeting with 10 participants from Slovenia, Portugal, Türkiye, and Spain. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to review project progress, strengthen collaboration, and plan the remaining activities as the project slowly comes to an end.

🔹 The meeting focused on sustainability and exploitation plans, including the development of training curricula, training materials, the e-learning platform, piloting activities, and validation workshops.

In addition to the working sessions, participants enjoyed a city tour, wine tasting in Maribor, and a joint dinner, which fostered informal discussions and strengthened international collaboration. 🍷🤝
The project is gradually reaching its conclusion, and partners are looking forward to finalizing and providing the teaching materials, which will soon be available on the project website.

🌍 As part of the DIGIN Workshop 👉 www.digin.si on September 18, 2025, in Maribor, UM FERI hosted a multiplier event of the ERASMUS+ project AI-ENABLE 👉 https://aienable.eu/. During this session, we presented project activities, highlighted tools, benefits and challenges, and shared perspectives from professors. Good practices from Slovenia, Portugal, Turkey, and Spain – the partner countries – were also presented.

The DIGIN Workshop overall brought together more than 150 participants in a hybrid format – around 50 onsite and 100 online. The program focused on key challenges of digital inclusion, addressing the needs of visually impaired, deaf, autistic individuals and other vulnerable groups. Discussions emphasized that inclusion is a broad and complex topic that requires action from multiple perspectives. 🌐✨

To ensure accessibility, the event featured sign language interpreters, live captioning, and AI-based automatic translation provided by XPRO, supported by an excellent technical team that enabled a smooth and inclusive hybrid event. 👏
